Now you have one object with a window in the center but you want the inverse. To create a rectangle of the correct size you could select all the white rectangles around by ctrl-click and ctrl+shift-click then "union" from the menu:Path. You would have to somehow create a rectangle of the correct size and then you could change the document size to the dimensions of this selected rectangle by going to: File-DocumentProperties and click the button: Resize page to Drawing or selection (see picture: Inkscape-File-DocumentProperties-Resize page to Drawing or selection.png)
The other way with manually trying to correct a Sibelius SVG in Inkscape is cumbersome.
Then open this PDF in inkscape and save as svg.
As you have to use inkscape to get a correct cropped svg here is a better way:Įxport as graphic from Sibelius but choose "PDF" as format.
